The Amazing Spider-Man

It’s often a sticky situation, discerning the underlying worldview that a movie is preaching. In fact, it can drive lesser mortals to climb the walls. In this episode, teen outcast (with fabulous hair and super-model good looks,) Peter Parker loses his parents to a shadowy conspiracy; is invisible to girls; gets bitten by a radioactive spider; gains powers; makes way for his uncle to be murdered; befriends a handicapped mad scientist; gets the girl; makes the girl’s dad want to arrest him; fights a giant, angry lizard who only wants to help the human race evolve; remembers to get organic egss for Aunt May; and saves the world.
